The animation, the voice acting, the script...Every single aspect from this is absolutely baffling from beginning to end.
I find a little bit hard to believe this was done in 1988, since it seems way too "ahead of its time" in the worst possible manner, predating a lot of awful trends present in many animated mockbusters from later decades.
Not even the cheapest saturday morning cartoon from that era was as poorly made as this movie.
It feels like a mockbuster version of Disney's Hercules a long time before Disney's Hercules was even a thing. (Assuming, of course, the 1988 date is a mistake from imdb part, and this movie was actually made in 1998, which would be much easier to believe)
Edit: I did a little bit more of research, and turns out that my suspicions were right. This was made in the nineties (Somewhere around the year 1997). So this was one of the many mockbusters animated versions of Hercules from the same decade after all.
