This futuristic dystopia movie is inspired in present Brazilian politics and its authoritarianism and anti-scientific activism. It is a movie that answers to the challenges imposed by Bolsonaro and his followers in Brazil. Its merits lie much more in its interesting general idea than properly in how it was built. Pace and text are not always the best, the story is predictable and not compelling. However, it is still amusing and a good effort that worth watching, particularly as it is a genre that is not very developed in the country and that it deals directly with pandemic and attacks on democracy, core early 2020's issues there.
