So a group of friends have been playing poker for a long time, from since they're teens. They meet regularly to play the game. Now they are adults with different professions. Now their last game will be different. Of course with super added coincidences.
It has a central trick of screenplay to make this plot work, which I don't have to tell you what is that. But that cheap trick to make the plot works become useless because after it works, there are no more honest intelligent plots development. It's like then they're just smart anecdotes after anecdotes we feel not genuine we've seen many times.
And the coincidences, well let's just say we can ignore if all else are good. This movie makes me remind to be amazed of many other simpler movies that can glue me to the screen, as somehow like magic.
