Spring 1998. 15-year-old Sakakibara Kouichi feels unwell after transferring to third grade class 3 at Northern Yamiyama Middle School. The reason for this is the anxious atmosphere that prevails in this class. Attracted by the beautiful but mysterious Misaki Mei, he tries to get closer to her and in doing so only gets more deeply entangled in the mystery. Meanwhile, the next misfortune awaited her. "Another" is an anime that tells a scary story.
The anime actually got me very carried away and I kept thinking about who the additional student could be.
I think the animation is very good, even if sometimes it might be a bit too detailed for some... Also the revelation of the additional student I thought was a stroke of genius at the end.
However, I don't like the character design of the main character at all.
It just looks a bit boring to me.
