Was a cute movie. But I felt that Hallmark should have done this with different characters instead of recycling the characters from Christmas Under Wraps. It felt unnecessary. This didn't have any of the 'Santa Claus implications' the other movie had and the leading man had a whole different career interest. He was a handy man going into "the family business" in the first movie, now suddenly wants nothing to do with the family business in this movie. This was a good movie with decent writing, decent dialogue, character and relationship development - if you hadnt seen the first movie. The cast does a great job and there was good chemistry with the leads. The story and character behaviors were very different from the first movie, however, which is why it should have been a stand alone movie. By using the same characters and contradicting the other movie, this just felt like an attempt to erase CCB, or at best, writers with no new ideas. Hoping to see some original movie ideas the rest of the Christmas season.
