Warning: Spoilers
It's ironic to see the cast list for this film which has only a handful of actors as there appears to be about half a dozen listed who have lines throughout this predictable, of which American International was making at the time and not always very good. The film opens with one of the worst ever patriotic War songs exclaiming, *We will win! We will win!", and the way it sounds is as if it was played from a skipping record.

Keith Andes is the lead and narrates the film (more narration than actual dialogue it appears), and he goes through typical wartime activities as well as a rather dull romance that doesn't move the storyline along at all. There's a little Filipino boy (who looks more Hispanic) confronting him with a gun and then thrilled to find out that he's actually American.

The film quality is actually pretty good, but the narration makes it appear like a TV play rather than a motion picture that showed in the theater (most likely a drive-in), so the film overall feels really forced. This certainly is no "Bridge on the River Kwai". There is a sudden catfight between two women that comes out of nowhere that seems inappropriate for the plot. Certainly easy to watch, but filled with stereotypical supporting characters (especially a Japanese soldier who reminded me of the one on "Gilligan's Island"), and Andes plays a character who is extremely generic. Nothing just snore at, but nothing to write home about either.
