I like movies that make you think so this was the one for me. This is a thought provoking film of the fate of Tiger 24 who is considered a man eater by some and a victim of circumstance by others. I was kind of shocked how they patrol the tiger zones and was fascinated by it. The shots of the the environment and the animals were gorgeous. The interviews with Indian villagers and local government officials showed empathy to all sides, which better illustrated the complexity of living with and preserving an endangered species. Tiger 24's whole personality and his relationship with his family, the human issues, and that the filmmaker/interviewer was also Indian, made this more interesting than the typical nature documentary which usually has a famous British male voiceover.
