Im so tired of peoples lives being portrayed as a one sided misery fest. Every film is devoid of hope. And that is literally no one's life. Can you not make the totality of Maryline Monroe's life a victime of misogyny. No one's life is that one sided. It's way more layered and complicated. And it has joy and wonderful new experiences. She is not just a side player in all these mens lives but a force with a complicated history. So although very pretty to watch it was devoid of her voice. It belittled her as an actress. And did this actress just come to work to cry? And not wear a shirt? Make more rounded stories. You're being lazy and irresponsible in your storytelling.
