Review of Kassa

Andor: Kassa (2022)

More bad Disney fan fiction?

So we have Rings of Power that doesnt feel very Tolkein, more like a nursery school play with great cgi.

Then we have House of the Dragon which feels like a poorly written soap opera with good production value.

Now we have Andor, looks great, but again the writing feels un-Star Wars like.

I see a pattern emerging and its not in the CGI departments, big companies are buying properties solely for their large and loyal fanbases, taking said properties that should be too big to fail, hand them to some Z-rate writers/directors and then blame the fans for not liking the inferior product.

I hope over the coming episodes/seasons these issues are at least addressed, because if not we could have years and years of these sub par products being forced upon us.

Edit: Having now watched the 7 released episodes, i'm actually blown away with how intriguing the story is, the first 3 episodes were kind of slow and can I say slightly boring, but from episode 4 onwards everything got so much better. Mon Mothma/Luthen Rael storyline is wonderful. More of this please!
