Young William, expecting his father and brother to return from battle, wakens to the rumbling of a cart his life without freedom is no life at all this film has a budget of 58million and is directed by Mel Gibson and he also stars in the lead along side brendan gleason. This sweeping saga Is 2hrs 58mins and is all about Scotland brutal battles in the 13 century as Wallace wife is killed by the English troops his request for revenge quickly turns into an impassioned fight for independence from the tyranny of King Edward and pleaded with King of Scotland Robert the Bruce to gather his forces as Wallace battles the British back out of Scotland tales of his rousing speaches on the battlefields inspires every commoner to take up arms and escalates into a all out cival war in a battle for the ages in The battle of Stirling.
