Jo Koy Has Questionable Writing Skills as a Comedian
7 September 2022
At a minimum. Once, on a radio show, Koy said "that's my stick" when he thought he was saying "that's my shtick".

He actually said the word stick. Like one you find on the ground, and not "shtick .

I still can't believe an adult said this.

Surely the sign of a once in a generation writer.

Which leads us to this movie.

...Very few moments where I didn't want to leave my own house.

Loud, forced, and tired at the same time. The trailer feels like the movie did, and in this case, that's not the best result. Maybe others will like it, I am sure that they are out there. After all, Koy presumably has a stand up career still. It takes all kinds to make the world what it is, nothing inherently wrong with that. To be honest I couldn't make it all the way through this because at a certain point, you start wondering how you found yourself in this spot where you just get lost in thought despite many characters in this movie being loud and doing impressions of a funny movie, etc.

Maybe Koy will dress up in a big body suit for his next flick, like Robin Williams or Eddie Murphy.

We all know what disasters those movies were.
