Probably we have watched the GoT so religiously that we expect the treachery and plotting by every character and the fight for the throne that this episode didn't seem too good. It's so hard to judge this show without comparing with GoT.
The acting is top notch and the bond between the Targaryen's is something to admire, let's see how long this continues. There will be blood and it'll be dragon blood. Rhaneyra definitely gives the vibes of Danerys, Otto and Corlys are like the typical king haters looking to extend their or their families lineage and claim to the iron throne.
