A typical decent S5 episode of Dynasty. But, I can't help but wonder how they're going to end the show in a satisfying way. With only 3 episodes left it's kind of odd that the stakes about the same as usual.
As for the episode itself, it was enjoyable. Dynasty is seasoned and knows how to make an episode the fans will enjoy. This was no different. You can tell the writers want to create some last minute fun moments while they still can and we definitely got some. Seeing a mini Victorious reunion between Jade and Robbie was fun, even if it was just a single scene. Nice puppet reference too.
There's still some complaints , nothing major or anything. Some characters just feel left in the background. Blake and Crystal have sort have been reduced to side characters this season which is a bit of a bummer. I want to see more of the Kirby and Amanda before the show wraps up.
As for this episode in particular it's just pretty weird that show kind of wants us to root for Adam (Unless I'm missing something) after everything he did. I still can't forgive him for what he did to Steven back in S2 (which feels like a lifetime ago) so he can rot for all I care.
So yeah, I really hope the finale of this show is insane and not some mushy feel good episode. I'd love to see Steven somehow return, or at the very least get 100% proof of what his fate is. To me Fallon and the rest of the Carrington's learning about what Adam did to Steven or Blake losing everything is the only real way you can end this show with a satisfying conclusion.
