If there's one movie I would recommend to all this year -- It is easily "Darlings". What a brilliant movie with amazing acting and story. The story is not too unrealistic. It grows realistically. It was able to successfully bring out nuances around something as complicated as domestic violence. Character building was strong. The movie was focused. It didn't have too many plotlines or dialogues to make it noisey -- which was perfect. The only unrealistic part was so many helpful people getting involved in complicated crime without any selfish motive -- which is a little difficult to digest. Overall, a beautiful movie of hope and despair. If there's one movie I could compare this movie to - it would be Shawshank Redemption. Loved it as much as I loved Shawshank Redemption.
