Elena is in her bedroom and prettily ties her hair back. It is the first day of senior year and Rebekah has joined them as a new student. Damon uses touch to subtlety flirt but also not flirt with Elena - he shows her where a vampire's heart is by touching her exposed side of the stomach and moving in. Tyler uses his compelling power to get the coach to let them off early. The coach tells them to go hit the showers. Rebekah catches the attention of the guys as she shows off her cheerleading moves in shorts and a tank. Elena wears an all-black outfit while jogging and Stefan keeps going alongside her annoyingly. At the bonfire, Damon does his role of distracting Rebekah as Elena plays the jealous girl. She falls over the bleachers and Stefan catches her. Alaric shoots him with wooden bullets. Vicki gets Matt to bring her back as a ghost who can touch. She wants to kill Elena as per her deal with the witch to stay.
