I was looking forward to this movie. I really enjoy
Kevin McGarry. It was nice to see a cleanly shaved face on McGarry. He has a fine jawline. I sincerely wish more of Hallmark's leading men would ditch the "shave burn" persona.
Overall this was boring movie. I agree with another reviewer who stated it felt like the actors "phoned in" their performances. As far as chemistry, it did not sizzle. I was hoping since he and Kayla are off screen partners, it might be better than it was in "Feeling Butterflies", it wasn't. This is one offering which will not be a go to. As far as the military element, it was pretty ridiculous and does not honor our military. It was insulting to the men and women who put their lives on the line every single day.
