Atrocious
11 July 2022
Holy smokes, if you weren't convinced yet the Amityville franchise has catapulted over the shark and launched itself into the atmosphere. The fourth entry in this franchise isn't even set in Amityville anymore, here we begin the trend of following random appliances that carry the possession to other households and families. I'm this instance, a lamp from the original house is shipped to California to transport horrors to a single mother and her family full of unlikable protagonists.

At this point, it seems like obscure horror scripts were slapping the Amityville name on it just get the movies funded. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because it somehow manages to be better than the 5th movie, and for that one ridiculous garbage disposal scene.
