In my opinion the character of Spencer Clay is repulsively negative and it was so exaggerated. On the other hand Justin Falls was always moaning or complaining about something and she was the symbol of ingratitude in all aspects. She really was on my nerves. I think these two characters cause a lot of damage to this story, actually I'm talking about characters, not acting. We are all seeing these kinds of sick people in real life or in the news every day and no one really wants to see more of them, especially in the series that they have chosen to watch for fun.
