The Simpsons: Brush with Greatness (1991)
Season 2, Episode 18
8/10
Strong humour
5 July 2022
The Simpsons visit Mount Splashmore and Marge paints Mr Burns.

This is a good episode with strong humour.

I find the plot to be a series of connections to various funny events, rather than a strong flowing narrative.

The Mount Splashmore scenes are all very funny and so is the concept of Ringo Starr's backlog of fan mail.

Marge painting Mr Burns comes relatively out of left field, but there is good humour and morality to it, plus it links well to Homer's efforts at weight loss.

The cameos by Starr and also John Lovitz are both highlights of the episode for me.

It's a 7.5/10 for me but I round upwards.
