The story is well thought out & well played by the cast. The Warning is that at the 11th or 12th episode it takes a decidedly Dark turn for the remaining episodes. Each of the last several episodes left me so exhausted mentally, I needed two days in between to watch the next one. One episode in particular left me totally shaken, I had trouble sleeping that night. The actors are all very good at shedding tears too. I cried several times while watching myself.
Having said that, by the third episode I was engrossed in the characters & story. Some of the characters do at times not act like they would in real life, so if you're looking for realism, this isn't it. There is also some scenes jumping back to previous years or even scenes set out of order for dramatic effect which I never like. If it wasn't for the dark turn in the last third of episodes, I would have rated this higher. I already was invested in the story so had to watch to the end. And the end wasn't what I expected and not a fulfilling ending but it's what you got.
