I felt some of the scenes were very cartoonish and others just were so slow and didn't have the same playful feeling to them, so I guess in a sense it just wasn't strange enough in some scenes and in others it was just too drawn out and real, I became frustrated for the character and felt no matter what the ending it just wasn't going to be satisfying and in a way it ended that way for me. Artistically it was fantastic and felt rewarding. Characters were endearing and culturally it was interesting to watch for me. I would genuinely like to see similar films constructed in this fashion with just a bit more attention to pace and rhythm. They really could have cut out about half of his failed interactions and it would have been far more satisfying to watch. The pace and repetitiveness would probably turn off a good deal of viewers but anyone who really enjoys the art of film should be able to see this as a worthwhile addition to their watch-list.
