Ok...I get it. It's fantasy...made up. But some things in this episode are pretty ridiculous. There is a square, red sun in the sky...looming, getting ready to merge two worlds. It seems Smallville is the only place on earth that knows about it. Lana and Lois try to decide about telling the awful truth to the town. Here's the deal, if there was a terrible, square, red sun in the sky, THE WHOLE WORLD WOULD NOTICE! Not just a small, Midwestern town. Secondly, the world are going to merge in 12 hours and will kill all of mankind...so Sam Lane (who heads up defense for the entire United States) sits around Clark's farmhouse trying to figure out what to do! Really? Every country, every scientist, all military woukd be on this to prevent it from happening...but, no, it's up to Smallville. Yeah, The New York Times would just be sitting around. Ok, nuff said. It was entertaining but completely dumb at the same time.
