. . . robins' eggs and crab apples. Viewers have got to hand it to the Kansas City school system and its know-nothing curriculum, which honed the understanding of the future Dizzy Nature film producers. Apparently every day was opposite day in the K. C. high schools science departments. That's probably why Dizzy gets everything about THE FLYING SQUIRREL flat out wrong, picturing Don the Duck encountering such a rodent--akin to Mick the Mouse--in broad daylight, subsisting upon an all-nut diet, with a special hankering for peanuts. George Washington Carver may have found 300 uses for goober peas, but nourishing the flying squirrel population was NOT one of them!
