2/10
bilingual created with good intent
14 June 2022
Divya is a documentary filmmaker. She interviews oppressed people and hopes to highlight their issues thru her film. But, on her boyfriend's insistence, she sells it to a politician who uses it to further his career. *Anya* is a hindi-marathi bilingual created with good intent. There was tremendous scope to make a realistic, badass film, but the shoddy direction is a major disappointment. Good actors like Atul Kulkarni, Raima Sen, Bhushan Pradhan have been wasted. Running time needs to be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 1/5.
