This is a completely wild, over the top flick. It is made up mostly of 3-4 second long, tight shots. Shooting and editing this must have been really something. There are loads of blood, gore, rape, torture, madness, betrayal - good heavens. And yet it is entertaining, because you can't take any of it very seriously. Does that count as exploitation?
