Ezra discovering his downfall and the consequences of both poor leadership and the usage of the dark side of the force was compelling a good moment of growth, and I loved Kanan's interactions with the spidery things and Bendu.
Thrawn is canon again, which is cool. Zahn's original Heir to the Empire trilogy is my favorite Star Wars trilogy after the original films. If Filoni and company do him Justice, I'll be amazed and content.
