Filmed mostly in Veneto, northern Italy, "When The Mist Clears" not only features beautiful people in front of wonderful backdrops. Along with romance and nudity, there's also a bit of suspense.

When she was just a teenager, her beloved Italian mother died of cancer far too early. She could never rely on her British father Frank (Victor Ptak). He always buried himself in his work and dumped his daughter with nannies, private tutors and psychotherapists.
Years later, Frank is now married again to an Italian woman - Claudia (Maddalena Ischiale), who is friendly towards Isabella. It is she who suggests that the family take some time off in their rural homeland to reconnect. Isabella reluctantly agrees.
