Following the disturbing discovery of the graves last time and with Agatha on the run, things heat up in a frantic effort to reunite Meghan with her baby. Sadly this ending has been obvious for three episodes, and though it is a decent execution, it adds nothing novel to a well trodden trope.
The season as a whole is OK, given a clichéd premise, with solid dependable performances from the two protagonist women (Laura Carmichael & Jessica De Gouw) but nothing special. The choice to make Agatha more open, relatable and likeable than the scheming, lying Meghan is a good one and adds a little depth to an otherwise pedestrian show.
