Roku has this as all forgotten 2000, but imdb thinks its lover's prayer 2001. And was actually filmed in 1999, according to the trivia section. Young russian girl flirts with everybody and anybody. Princess zinaida (dunst) seems to be the only young, single, female in the hood, and all the neighborhood bucks are circling, hoping to be with her. The script is so silly, it's almost a john waters movie, without the fun... just pretty boring. Directed by reverge anselmo. Has only directed a few things so far. The film seems to be based on two short stories by chekhov and ivan turgenev. I think the script needed a tune-up.. .it's just confusing. They have russian names, but are speaking stilted english, and wearing what appear to be english clothes. I stopped caring about halfway through, but watched it through to the end. Avoid, avoid, will robinson.
