This is one of the best Starsky and Hutch episodes ever made. It's hard to believe they packed all this into a single episode. It has to do with raising a black son in a tough neighborhood. It has to do with cops who shoot first and ask questions later. It has to do with a system that doesn't hold those kinds of cops accountable. It has to do with drugs on the streets. It has to do with a death in the family. It has to do with the precarious relationship between white people and black people. It has to do with life not being fair. Like I said it's a loaded episode.

The writing is realistic and fair, not one-sided. The acting is first rate. It's very well directed. There's not much more I can add. It's just an outstanding episode. I gave it a well-deserved "10".
