The story line is weak, the comedy is bad, and the twist is awful. They want us to feel bad for the gorilla and the Wei but there's little character development and Wei is not likable as a whole. The movie seem to targeted for kids , but many of the premise is just too adult. The whole idea is not believable, a gorilla get to play baseball and everyone is just fine with it. No! It's not cheating, a gorilla is only 20x stronger then human, but when the other team purposely ball her it's cheating and it's not baseball, the crowd booed them, but a silver back gorilla strike a home run every hit is ok? If only the other team is taking super human enhancing drug and the gorilla shut them down it'll probably be justified. But at the end it's just a fantasy, and a really weak one at that. Oh! But the CGI is pretty good though, 1 star.
