Warning: Spoilers
. . . to determine the fate not only of your nation but the entire Free World, there's no tradition that the military encourages more than preserving Bring Your Kids to Work Day. During HOME DEFENSE, Don Duck is manning a crucial anti-aircraft battery. He winds up destroying his U. S. taxpayer-funded equipment, thanks to his thoughtless inclusion of three youngsters at his assigned post. Surely if Don had been assigned to HOME DEFENSE a few years earlier in Hawaii, it's likely the Axis of Evil would have gone through with their original "third wave" plans to destroy all the U. S. dry docks, port cranes, fuel tanks and supply warehouses, perhaps nipping the Allies' ultimate Triumph in the bud.
