Our lupine friend is decked out during THE THRIFTY PIG with multiple National Socialist Party double broken crosses. As anyone familiar with Dizzy's pork franchise well knows, it's the title character of this brief cartoon who is the REAL brown shirt here. This dullard swine always is buffing his snout on the grindstone, while trying to dictate his workaholic life style as a mandatory prescription for his two fun-loving friends. Killjoys such as THE THRIFTY PIG deserve to be confined to spartan work camps.
