I thought they would make season 10 a whole, with both main plots intertwining at the end. But they never did. American Horror Story is a very confusing show. It can get very high (Asylum and Hostel) but also very low (Roanoke, Cult and Apocalypse) and this season is the perfect example of that. Red Tide was led to become one of the best again. Only the ending was rushed, to give room to this alien conspiracy thing, on part 2. Instead of just waiting for next season, to address this topic. And even then, the ending felt rushed and incomplete. After a very messy and simplistic rewriting of History. I'm not sure I like this three seasons renewal. It is clear they need to stop trying, and admit they've already reached their full potential, instead of spoiling everything, by trying to upstage past seasons greatness. On top of being a disconcerting season, it had two of my least favorite AHS regulars shoved down my throat again. And very annoying characters in Death Valley. It was a slight improvement from everything since season 5, but still not enough to justify these premature renewals.
