May I Hold Your Dog While You Cry?

Warning: this review is very rambly, disjointed and all over the place.

Although this episode isn't one I come back to often, I really love it.

Seeing Brennan interact with all the dogs is so lovely and her excitement when she was planning to adopt Ripley made the ending all the more heart crushing.

I'm glad they finally addressed Hodgins' feelings regarding losing both Zack and Angela, something they seemed to have ignored in the previous episode. That little "You're a genius" "No, you're the genius" exchange between Hodgins and Angela even made me cry a bit because you can see that both of them are still hurting and trying to navigate working together post break-up.

I'm a bit ambivalent towards this week's squintern but I guess that's why we never see him again.

It's always great to see Booth and Parker's relationship and it's really sweet how much Booth worries about him.

Of course bringing in the Dog Whisperer was a bit random but it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the episode.

Overall, a great episode 9/10

(side note: Robbie from this episode was also in the DCOM "Avalon High" which I used to be obsessed with as a kid)
