'Mr. Dreeb Comes to Town' is about a dwarf that has stolen a circus elephant, and it has some very amusing and memorable scenes with the pachyderm. The lovable animal winds up being housed temporarily in the Brock garage, while the defendant appears before Judge Bone (Ray Walston). The Brocks' two young boys start putting on shows in the front yard for the neighbors, charging admission. Hilarious. Even more hilarious is a scene where Jill must administer an *en*e*ma* to the elephant, and the local folks gather round hoping for its recovery.
Meanwhile, Dreeb the little guy falls for Maxine (Lauren Holly) the deputy cop, but it's clear that she probably won't be happy with anyone but her partner Kenny (Costas Mandylor).
Another plot, involving the daughter's teacher who was dying, is very nicely handled. He has asked them to tell a bunch of jokes if he doesn't survive his operation. The last scene has Jimmy, Jill and Kimberly telling jokes to remember him. And there is a special credit at the end, which says jokes were supplied by Milton Berle. Great stuff.
