. . . Economics is NOT to dump half a jar of rubber cement into your pancake batter. This is exactly what Don Duck does near the beginning of CHEF DONALD. Inattentive bozos whose absent-minded approach introduces such recipe deviations into their culinary efforts give kitchen laborers a bad name. I remember my sophomore year we had a Sloppy Sally in my Cooking 202 class. During pecan pie week, this sad clown dumped a can of peas into her confection for the filling. Yuck!
