Kill List (2011)
4/10
Slow religious cult movie, depressing at the end
14 February 2022
The acting was believable and dialog natural. Decent story, but it reminded me of one of those 70s-80s satanic cult movies that just seemed to be too unreasonable and unreal to ever be remotely plausible. You have to spend the 1st 15 minutes or so listening to the couple bicker and argue - something that bores me to no end during a movie. There were no scary moments, or anything supernatural, so I can't see this as a horror film. When guy's son and wife are killed and it's all his doing, it wasn't scary, just very sad.
