So far so good, three episodes in and the series is as promised. The writing and cinematography are both excellent, very similar to Downton. The production and sets have been good, the Russell household has some spectacular rooms, very period. The standout is the cast, every character has been cast well, all the actors have been excellent. Carrie Coon and Morgan Spector have great chemistry, but the standout is Louisa Jacobson. Why has it taken so long for her to star in something, she is absolutely fantastic, radiant.
Good episode with a dramatic finish, although the ease at how the episode got to its conclusion felt a little cheap. Not a major knock, still great television. Looking forward to more from this series.
