8/10
Man with a troubled character tries to do good.
4 February 2022
Our "hero" is a man who has been put in debtors prison, who's wife left him and his family has to raise his son with a severe stuttering problem.

He is released on a pass from prison to try and resolve the issue with his creditor.

This is a good story of a man than wants to do good, but his character allows him to take short cuts every time they appear or are offered.

He just can't seem to do the right thing in a right way.

One after another options appear that look like a way out for him, but the consequences of short cuts keep coming back to haunt him.

Almost immediately the audience develops sympathy for the man and his plight.

And, You can see he struggles at every turn to try and do right, even trying ti see God's hand in some opportunities: Insha'Allah.

The people outside his family want to help him, they just want to verify his story, because of his history of finagling. He then tries to find addition expedient means to help himself.

But, he ends up cutting corners instead of the virtuous.
