It's just an easy-watch romance movie like any other Hallmark movie but Alexa PenaVega ruined it for me. She just seemed to have this fakeness that really bothered me and ruined the authenticity. The two leads also seemed to lack a lot of chemistry although Luke Macfarlane did a good performance as usual. I wish Hallmark would have toned down the makeup, it only worsens the female lead character. Who's all dolled up with a mask of bronzer, eyeliner and a thick layer of lipstick first thing in the morning or in the evening in lounge clothes anyways? Everything about the female lead character just feels very artificial and it brings down the whole movie.
