Season 2, Episode 3

Quite good!

Warning: Spoilers
This was a pretty good episode, better than the previous ones.

We finally know what is in the mines, and the visuals of the revelation and first confrontation were good. Besides, Lois is behaving more normally (by opposition of his erratic estate in the first episode) and her subplot with her dad and the building for Lucy's arrival was good. Clark also did a good job talking with his children. And I think this was the best Nat so far.

I thought the whole "I am in love, I am going to marry her, so I am going to tell her our family secret" was ridiculous. Jordan has not been given a love potion, he still has a brain. So I did not like that part, but I was glad to see the writers have him realizing his mistake and showing Sarah his love without telling her the secrets. The end of the chapter for Sarah and Jordan was good. Oh, I could not care less for Lana's aspirations, but I think it was moderately well done (except for the cliché "I am a cooking mother").

What I did not like at all was Jon trying to buy kryptonite drugs. First because he never seemed interested in drugs so fair, that felt very out of character. Second because he knows he is half-kryptonian and those drugs could affect him differently than normal humans. So, I have the hope this is all a ruse to find where the kryptonite came for. If not, I really see him out of character. I would have expected him to tell his family as soon as he found about the drugs.

Anyways, I am interested in this, I want to see the future episodes, so I guess the show is doing its job.
