I find this completely depressing right from the outset. Gervis is constantly looking back at what could have been rather than moving on with his life. There is not joy or spark that comes from knowing someone for years. It is cliche Ricky Gervis, rude, swearing, sarcasm, profanity. Represents the worst scum of the uk society, where is the love? Where is the hope?
