Fisherman's Friends is based on true events which makes it more interesting to watch. It's a story worth to be told and even if you're not into that kind of music it's still enjoyable to watch. I can't say I liked all the songs, even though I caught myself singing along with a couple ones. Those shanties are perfect as sing-a-longs in pubs, when the majority has consumed a bit too much lagers. The acting was okay but I saw those same actors doing better in the past. The story is engaging, sometimes emotional, what makes Fisherman's Friends worth a watch.
