Pretty solid pilot episode for the season. Sets up the tone of the season - doesn't look like Dexter's sidekick is yet introduced but our villains have been introduced like season 4. The whole reunion concept was pretty funny and a little embarrassing but in a good way. But it does seem super unlikely he can set up a kill room in the middle of a school and be able to carry him out without anyone noticing... slight bit of unrealistic writing but I'm usually pretty generous about that stuff.
Quinn looks like he's going to propose to Deb and I'm not sure how I feel about them. Deb has changed a lot over the seasons and Quinn is possibly the least romantic relationship she's been in perhaps due to her change. Wonder how they are going to explore their relationship.
