The ex wife of the captain comes to him after an unspecified amount of time hoping to reunite with him. She is a very pleasant, likeable person and you find yourself wondering why in the world did they break up. As you watch this episode you begin to realize they still have good feelings toward each other and you suspect they will get remarried. But as the episode continues you begin to see serious differences between them and you realize it will never work out. She is a sparkly, spontaneous type of person, he is more structured and not at all the partying type. As they part, they leave you with the understanding two people can actually love each other inspite of the fact they are incompatible.
