The main story, involving Grissom, Sidle and Hodges, works fine (even if sometimes it lacks credibility). It's a good plot, and you'd wish the entire episodes talk about it.
The other extra new case they face in every episode, the one with the new cast, is oh so boring/stupid/empty.
The old CSI had a varying ensemble of characters, entwined and supporting each other. Now it's just two (mandeep dhillon and matt lauria 👎), and they are hardly bearable too. Both are shallow uninteresting characters, always predictable, never original.
The moment the long story ends, I'll lose any remaining interest in this.
