This was sweet but campy, with a little overacting. A wealthy financial consultant, Henry, comes to town to analyze the financials of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Emily, the Thanksgiving Day Parade Coordinator, is less than thrilled with the interference and takes it upon herself to teach Henry about all of the important philanthropy of the parade and to show him how important the parade really is to the city and it's inhabitants. At first these two seem to have nothing in common...including Emily, who is in a relationship and is hoping that her long distance boyfriend is going to propose. Except he doesn't...and Emily realizes that she has feelings for Henry in-spite of his 5 date rule, but can she get up the nerve to risk telling him.
The campy overacting seemed to work in this sweet holiday hallmark romance. The actors had chemistry and this was fun and funny...which is rare in these holiday romances.
