Warning: Spoilers
Honestly this just wasn't that good. It was beautifully animated, Rhody (Rody?) was a pretty cool character, and the villain was a massive improvement over Seven, but I would argue this is where the positives end.

With Rhody's quirk being intentionally left as a mystery (and major plot point) I really expected it to have something to do with his ability to escape/run/parkour, otherwise there is just flat out no excuse for him being able to get away from Deku in the opening act. I understand that some suspension of disbelief is required when it comes to Deku due to the nature of his quirk, but this movie asked us to accept that a teenager and his pet bird were more than Deku could handle for about 7 straight minutes of screen-time. Unacceptable.

Also, the main point of this movie is that it's international and they did almost nothing with that concept. They didn't need to bring in the Manga's most recent international hero, but, to my knowledge, they didn't introduce any heroes from other countries, where that could've been a really cool thing to explore.
