This is the slowest episode to date. It's no wonder it's got the all around lowest ratings. The time travel is essential for Rita to erase her trauma (rather than face it like everyone else in the show) to be able to actually use her power which I think is necessary and good - unlike the dancing around like a chicken to Lady Gaga which was unnecessary and bad.
The rest of the characters are facing their next step after coming back from the dead but it's taken a while to get here and it's still not happened. Slow moving episodes are to be expected but one centered around Rita joining a high school improv class and having the most uninteresting love interest on tv is not the way to play it .
Also, can people stop playing out how touching the scene with Larry and his son was? They've had pretty much this same back and fouth before and I'm sure they'll do it again, I wanna see this bug thing.
Somewhere along the way it seems that the show is seeking out a new audience if not trying to appeal to more but I think they should just stick to weird and offbeat.
